Family Package: The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Golden Dragon
As part of its 100th anniversary season, The University Concert Series
brings a weekend of great entertainment: The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards
and the Band of the Coldstream Guards on Friday, February 8 and The
Golden Dragon Acrobats on Saturday, February 9. The Royal Scots are
Scotland's only Regiment of Cavalry, famous for their outstanding Pipes
and Drums and will perform with them is The Band of the Coldstream
Guards. The Golden Dragon Acrobats combine traditional dance,
spectacular costumes, and of course, breathtaking acrobatics. Package

Magic of Ireland and Count Basie Orchestra
As part of its 100th anniversary season, The University Concert Series
is bringing two musical phenomena: The Magic of Ireland on Monday,
February 25 at 7pm and The World-Famous Count Basie Orchestra on
Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm. Both groups feature one of a kind musical
talent. Start off your stay with The Magic of Ireland featuring a truly
Irish cultural experience full of dance, music, and vocals. Return the
next night to take in an evening of modern jazz created by the 19-member
ensemble of the Count Basie Orchestra. Package includes tickets to the

State Symphony of Mexico and Hairspray
As part of its 100th anniversary season, The University Concert Series
is proud to bring two great nights of musical fun: the State Symphony
Orchestra of Mexico on Wednesday, March 5 at 7pm and the Broadway smash
hit, Hairspray, on Thursday, March 6 at 7pm. Your stay will start with
a unique cultural sound from the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico as
they present a wide range of selections featuring guitarist Alfonso
Moreno. The next night presents the smash Broadway hit, Hairspray,
transporting the audience back to 1960s Baltimore as seen through the
eyes of 16 year-old Tracy Turnblad who sets out to dance her way into TV

Movin' Out and Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight!
As part of its 100th anniversary season, The University Concert Series
is excited to present two nights of wonderful entertainment: Movin' Out
on April 28 at 7pm and Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight! on April 29
at 7pm. Movin' Out is a Broadway musical that has been hailed for its
insightful portrayal of a generation of Americans affected by the events
of the 1960s and 1970s. Hal Holbrook inhabits the person of Mark Twain,
the complex Missouri native, in one of the most enduring performances in
the history of the theater. Package includes tickets to the events and
